Campaign Owner Agreement
By creating a campaign on MillionMe, you agree to the following terms in addition to our Terms of Service.
Your Commitments
- Truthfulness: All information in your campaign is accurate and not misleading.
- Proper Use: You'll use donations for the purposes described in your campaign.
- Legal Compliance: You'll follow all applicable laws, including tax obligations.
- Communication: You'll respond to donor inquiries and provide regular updates.
- Content Rights: You have the right to use all content in your campaign.
Financial Terms

Tax Responsibilities
⚠️ Important
You are responsible for reporting and paying applicable taxes on donations received. We will provide Form 1099-K if required by law (currently $20,000+ and 200+ transactions, though thresholds may change).
We recommend consulting a tax professional for advice on your specific situation.
What You Can't Do
- Create fraudulent or misleading campaigns
- Use the Platform for illegal purposes
- Infringe others' intellectual property
- Harass donors or other users
- Misrepresent how you'll use donations
Campaign Removal
We may remove campaigns that:
- Violate these terms or our Community Guidelines
- Receive credible fraud reports
- Contain prohibited content
- Pose reputational risk to MillionMe
Termination
You can close your campaign anytime. Pending donations will still be paid out according to the normal schedule.
We may terminate your account for violations. Pending payouts may be held pending investigation.
Liability
You agree to defend and hold MillionMe harmless from any claims arising from your campaign, including:
- Your use of the Platform
- Your campaign content
- How you use donations
- Disputes with donors
